The 100×100mm mesh (HD 500 and K 1000) effectively intercepts most commercial drones from mini-UAV class up to quadcopters weighing 5–8kg. The net entangles rotors on contact. For smaller drones or higher-velocity UAVs, we recommend the X 5000 with 50×50mm mesh.
Both share the same 100×100mm mesh, 1.8mm wire and 200×12m panel. HD 500 is HDPE braided with knots — stiffer, very high mechanical strength. K 1000 is PPMF knotless — slightly lighter (35 vs 39 g/m²), more flexible, easier to install and marginally cheaper.
Physical netting is a passive, permanent, zero-operating-cost barrier — no power, cannot be jammed or hacked. It works standalone or ideally combined with electronic detection which identifies the threat while the net provides the physical stop.
Yes. We manufacture without seams up to 500m² in a single piece. For larger areas we supply matching panels with stainless steel joining systems. Contact us with your perimeter measurements for a bespoke quote.
Physical barriers are generally unrestricted across the EU when installed on private or managed property. Unlike RF jamming, passive physical nets do not fall under telecommunications regulations. We can provide documentation to support planning applications.
Standard warranty is 24 months on all products. When installation is carried out by our team: 48 months covering material defects and UV degradation. Estimated outdoor service life: 10–15 years.
